  • Learn what conditions favour weed germination and establishment.
 

Pest identification and control

At the end of this topic you will be able to:

  • Identify and control common pests on sports turf areas around New Zealand.
 

Disease management

At the end of this topic you will be able to:

  • Identify and control turf diseases and disorders
  • Demonstrate knowledge in how diseases spread
  • Understand how to control the spread of disease through good management practices in addition to chemical control.
 

Mowing

At the end of this topic you will be able to:

  • Make decisions on how and when to cut turf
